Indy Edges-Out Chicago in Tech Growth

Out of 30 cities, Indianapolis ranked fifth in tech-job growth in a report by CBRE, a real estate tracking firm. The Indianapolis Business Journal pointed out that 5,423 jobs were created in a two year period.

Over the weekend, Chris Carmen parted with a prized possession when he donated a bike to Freewheelin' Community Bikes in Indianapolis. Chris had the bike since he was 13 years old....but is unwilling to disclose how long ago that was. With such sentimental value, he decided to donate to an organization with a great mission.

As if Indy couldn't get more recognition for being a rapidly growing tech hub, a report released by Jones Lang LaSalle IP Inc (JLL) ranked the city 10th in the top 15 markets for tech leasing. Due to the talent pool and lower cost of business, Indianapolis is turning the heads of tech companies from coast to coast.
